Workflow

Power on
IRON-qPCR ™ This Step covers basic instrumental setting requirements for IRON-qPCR ™.
Turn the power switch on and select which channel to use. Then, prepare cartridges. -
Cleaning
IRON-qPCR ™ Clean the inside of the cartridge mounting area in IRON-qPCR ™ using 70% Ethanol, DNA zap, or Isopropanol (IPA). -
Punching
a test cartridge The puncher is applied to activate the extraction process and Real-Time PCR.
Read the barcode on the test cartridge, then the instrument will call the appropriate protocols from the system. -
Sample injection
into a test cartridge If necessary, read the barcode on the sample tube.
Inject sample into test cartridge using the disposable pipette. -
Cartridge Loading
into IRON-qPCR ™ Load the cartridge into the correct channel of instrument. Touch ‘START’ button on the screen. Then, the instrument initiates the nucleic acid extraction injects the extracted nucleic acid into the PCR reaction plate performs the Real-Time PCR. -
Result analysis After the processes, screen shows test results and the graphs.
